Formerly known as AZ Shutterbugs West, Captured Light was started in 2008 with the intention of getting photographers of all skill levels together to learn, teach, share and create. Our goal is to help you grow your love of photography by developing your knowledge to not only capture but create images with intent. Please note that our group is based in the Phoenix, Arizona area, predominantly in the N. Phoenix, Glendale and Peoria areas. While we don't limit membership to photographers outside those areas, you will definitely get more value from the group since our in-person meetings and workshops are nearly always in these areas.
